HOLOGRAM PORTRAIT

2010: A BREAKTHROUGH IN PORTRAIT HOLOGRAPHY !
 

Although it has been possible for years to produce holographic portraits, the excessive costs (several thousand Euros) have prevented most people from having one made. 

Now we offer a revolutionary new technique:

We can produce FULL COLOUR holographic portraits from a video that you can shoot yourself with a simple digital camera or even your mobile phone !

This is how it works:

1. Shoot a video of your face while you turn your head from left to right.

2. Send us your video by e-mail.

3. You will receive your portrait hologram by mail after 2-3 weeks.

Size of the hologram is 13 x 18 cm (5 x 7 inch).

There are four ways to display your portrait hologram:

1. Desk display: Use the optional LED Portrait Light Stand (as shown here)

2. Desk display: Use a 50 Watt halogen spotlight shining from the ceiling onto the desk.

3. Wall display: Use the optional Halogen Portrait Light

4. Wall display: Use a 50 Watt halogen spotlight shining from the ceiling to the wall.

You can choose to display the hologram as it is (laminated onto hard backing) or in an aluminium frame with a glass plate protecting the hologram.

The frame can be 13 x 18 cm (no mount) or 18 x 24 cm (with black mount).

 Prices:

Shipping costs for hologram only: 13 Euro, for hologram + frame and/or light: 23 Euro.

HOW TO SHOOT YOUR VIDEO

You can use a digital photo camera with video option or a mobile phone video camera.

The video must be shot in portrait format (vertical), not landscape (horizontal).

Make a video of the subjects face. Hold the camera as still as possible.
The only movement should be the subjects head which must turn slowly from left to right.

Use a colourful background and clothes to fully use the possibilities of colour holography.

For production of the 3-D data for the hologram the image will be cropped slightly at the edges (about 15 %).
Leave some space around the face, but not too much.
